What a great start to the day when we had newlyweds Ryan and Kristine Hughes pulling back into the dock first thing this morning with a Tyee still thumping in the net. Weighing in at 31.5 lbs, a terrific way to commemorate their first fishing trip together at Ole’s. The rest of the morning was pretty nice on the water with good Coho coming in from Barney, Bayley, Kelpie and the Racetrack, not as many as last week but still enough to keep everyone happy. But there was more excitement to come when Ryans grandparents Wilburn and Carol Smith, not to be outdone come rolling in with their own Tyee thumping in the boat. Weighing in at 35.5, Carol was mighty proud and it was a delight to present two Tyee Pins to Grandma and grandson at dinner. With another full day of fishing getting under way the possibilities are endless!
